Tim Hortons wastes so much food when the world is dying of starvation!

tell tim hortons to stop wasting food and donate to hungry people!

they throw away so much bread, muffins and baked goods everyday all across canada when food banks are too low to provide and families with children right in their community and the very people who keep their business so successful are hungry and in desperate need of food!  they boast about caring about kids by selling those smiley cookies and only donating a portion while making a profit on it yet they wont give food they are just going to throw away anyways to kids!  its disgusting and greedy. it needs to be brought to light. i worked there for two years and had to throw so much away , if i tried to give and got caught i would have been fired. they are not willing and are so strict about donating. they make excuses about risk of food poisoning when all other companies like Starbucks and bakeries donate their day olds. The food bank gets the companies who donate to sign a waver relinquishing them of any accusations. People who are forced to use food banks to eat are aware that the food is never fresh . And imagine what its doing to the environment, all the food they waste. Wasting huge quantities of food in this economy or at any other time is one of the worst things to be doing when the planet looses millions to starvation everyday!  I know other restaurants, like Mcdonalds also practices this wasteful routine.
