Animal abusers are trying so hard to get away with their horrific behavior that they are now trying to pass two bills in the state of Minnesota allowing them to press criminal charges against activists taking pictures and blowing the whistle on their disgusting behavior.
If passed—and there is a strong push to pass them quickly—these bills would make it a crime to photograph or videotape inside these facilities without the owner's consent, even if that evidence shows violations of the law. These bills would punish whistleblowers and make vital undercover work that exposes routine—and often criminal—abuse of animals impossible.
